  • Features

    Innovative optical concept

Unrivalled brightness thanks to a light transmission of 95%+ – this unique result is created by the innovative optical concept of the VICTORY HT range. It is made possible by the perfect interplay of SCHOTT® HT lenses, ZEISS T* multi-layer coating and Abbe Königprism system. Observe animals that are active in the twilight hours, such as nightingalesearly in the morning and bats, screech owls and other shy animals late in the evening. This innovative, high performance package will enable you to enjoy the true majesty of nature, even in poor light conditions.

    Ergonomic Comfort-Focus-Concept

Ultimate user ergonomics – that is the promise of the new Comfort Focus concept with its focusing wheel. The strikingly large focusing wheel is set a long way forwards on the bridge. You will notice the benefits the very first time you use the binoculars. The index finger sits automatically on the focusing wheel, the thumb gently grips the binoculars, while the remaining three fingers rest comfortably next to the index finger. You will no longer have to think about how to hold the binoculars: when a bird flies past you can simply lift them up and focus. The particularly high gearing of the focusing wheel allows you to focus on your target quickly and accurately. The VICTORY HT: designed so that you don't miss a thing!

    Extreme robust Double-Link-Bridge

Maximum precision and durability thanks to the extremely robust construction. The housing with its innovative double-link bridge is made of high-strength and ultra-light magnesium. The focusing wheel is securely embedded in the housing. This means that the VICTORY HT premium binoculars are perfectly equipped for use even in the harshest conditions.

    Brilliant FL-concept

Make the most of the full richness of colour and brilliance in the world of birds. The outstanding lens construction, using lenses made of high-performance fluoride glass - FL for short - helps you to see the colours with more brilliance and natural authenticity and to observe details such as plumage more clearly. Chromatic aberrations are kept to a minimum. Important details, such as a bird's eyebrow stripe, are shown as nature intended them to be seen, while colours and shapes are clearly defined.

    LotuTec® coating

Water simply rolls off the lens as it does from a lotus leaf or off a duck's back. The LotuTec®coating on the lens and eyepiece ensures that water or snow simply roll off the surface of the glass. Since neither water nor dirt can collect on the surface of the VICTORY HT you can spend less time cleaning and more time watching nature.

    Design for perfection

The elegant and ergonomic design makes the VICTORY HT premium binoculars far easier to use. The particularly slim construction of the double-link bridge and an extremely large grip on the lens barrels make these binoculars exceptionally intuitive and easy to handle. This ensures smooth imaging in any situation, however they are held. In this way, the design supports the highest standards of perfect visual experiences.

  • Questions & Answers

    Questions & Answers

    • Why do the VICTORY HT binoculars only come with a 54x lens?

With the VICTORY HT binoculars, ZEISS intentionally avoided a 56 mm lens diameter to make it as compact and lightweight as the all-rounders in the size 50 class, yet still the top premium binoculars regarding transmission. Unlike comparable 56x binoculars, these weigh 20% less.

    • What is the difference between FL, HD, HT and ED?

ED = Extra low Dispersion = low chromatic aberrations

HD = High Definition. HD is not a type of lens. Instead it describes the result of the ED lenses: very good resolution

FL = Fluoride Lenses; a special, high-quality sub-category of the ED lenses

HT = High Transmission = lenses by Schott with very good transmission properties.

We use HT in the sense of a complete HT concept: binoculars that are based on the FL binoculars but which have extremely high levels of light transmission. VICTORY HT binoculars also have FL and HT lenses.

    • What do the abbreviations mean?

      Meaning of the abbreviations

      FL
Binoculars or spotting scopes with glasses that contain fluoride (FL) for sharper, higher contrast images with significantly reduced chromatic aberrations; Fluoride Lenses; a special, high-quality sub-category of the ED lenses

      GA
Previously used to designate Dialyt binoculars with rubber armour

      T*
ZEISS T* Multi-layer coating for extremely high transmission and low reflex susceptibility

      MC
      ZEISS Multi-layer coating (multi coating)

      P / P*
Phase correction coating on the roof prisms, which provide a higher resolution of the finest detail structures. All ZEISS binoculars with roof prisms use this coating

      B
Previously used to designate binoculars that can be worn by people who wear glasses.
Now all ZEISS binoculars and spotting scope eyepieces are suitable for people who wear glasses, so the "B" designation is no longer used

      S
      Binoculars with mechanical image stabilisation

      ED
Extra low Dispersion = low chromatic aberrations

      HD
High Definition. HD is not a type of lens. Instead it describes the result of the ED lenses: very good resolution

      HT
High Transmission = lenses by Schott with very good transmission properties.

      SF

Smart Focus = Conventional binoculars require the focusing wheel to be turned 2.5 times in order to switch from the close focus to the maximum observation distance. The VICTORY SF only requires the wheel to be turned 1.8 times.
