Brilliant visual experience

Newly developed Ultra-FL lens

The light transmission of 92% gives you the edge at dusk or on dark days. The newly developed, highly innovative Ultra-FL lens system also provides outstanding image quality. Multiple fluoride lenses made from the highest quality SCHOTT glass ensure even better colour reproduction and high detail resolution. A seven-lens eyepiece with field flattener ensures sharp focus all the way to the edges.

Faster viewing

Unparalleled wide-angle field of view

With the VICTORY SF, you’ll never miss a moment. Thanks to the extremely large wide-angle field of view, you will find what you’re looking for far more quickly than ever before. The 10 x 42 with its 120 m field of view (at 1,000 m) and the 8 x 42 with its 148 m offer top values. The large field of view also stands up to the toughest challenges. The field flattener guarantees sharp, brilliant images to the edges. Rediscover the world of birdwatching and wildlife observation with all of nature’s stunning details in crisp, clear focus.

Comfortable discoveries

The most ergonomic in its class

The lightest weight and exceptional ErgoBalance concept allows users to become one with their binoculars and surroundings. The ZEISS VICTORY SF features lightweight materials and a unique anti-slip product design for ergonomic comfort that is truly unparalleled. Weighing in at just 780 g, it allows for several hours of fatigue-free viewing. The centre of gravity is closer to the eye, resulting in a very balanced weight distribution, making it possible to keep a steady hand over extended periods of time.

Best focus

ErgoBalance-Concept

We think that intuitive means more than just “simple”. More than anything, it means fast. Being able to use binoculars quickly and easily is essential in birding as you try to focus on rapidly moving objects at varying distances. The outstanding SMART FOCUS concept allows you to respond as quickly and intuitively thanks to the improved focusing speed. The focusing wheel is positioned in the triple-link bridge to allow for a comfortable, natural hand position. The anti-slip surface allows for easier, more precise operation and ideal focusing. Once you’ve tried the VICTORY SF, you’ll never want to live without them.

Top quality workmanship

Made for the outdoors. For always.

In addition to its extraordinary optical performance, you will be immediately impressed by the design and workmanship of the ZEISS VICTORY SF binoculars from the moment you pick them up. Durability and excellent production quality are requirements for all ZEISS Sports Optics products – standard features, not extras. This means that you can enjoy many, many years of nature experiences first hand, even in the toughest conditions. Only the best survives.

Questions & Answers

Pfeil

What is the main difference between the VICTORY HT and VICTORY SF models?

The VICTORY HT models are the brightest premium binoculars in the world. Light transmittance values of
95% make them unrivalled during difficult lighting conditions. The SF binoculars convince through extremely wide fields of view and perfect ergonomics, which give you the perfect conditions when out in the great outdoors.

Pfeil

Do these models still have the ZEISS T* multi-layer coating?

All VICTORY models have a T* multi-layer coating on every surface that is subjected to air. A technology, which enables high light transmittance. In contrast to the older models, the "T*" is not part of the product name anymore.

Pfeil

Is there a connection between field-flaltener lenses and distortion?

A field-flattener lens enables an equal field of view, so that also the image border is sharp without focusing. This lens function is not subject to distortion, because also the VICTORY SF models have a moderate and tried and tested distortion. The field of view is calm and has a natural viewing effect.

ZEISS T* Multi-layer coating for extremely high transmission and low reflex susceptibility

ZEISS Multi-layer coating (multi coating)

P / P*
Phase correction coating on the roof prisms, which provide a higher resolution of the finest detail structures. All ZEISS binoculars with roof prisms use this coating

B
Previously used to designate binoculars that can be worn by people who wear glasses.
Now all ZEISS binoculars and spotting scope eyepieces are suitable for people who wear glasses, so the "B" designation is no longer used

S
Binoculars with mechanical image stabilisation

ED
Extra low Dispersion = low chromatic aberrations

HD
High Definition. HD is not a type of lens. Instead it describes the result of the ED lenses: very good resolution

HT
High Transmission = lenses by Schott with very good transmission properties.

SF

Smart Focus = Conventional binoculars require the focusing wheel to be turned 2.5 times in order to switch from the close focus to the maximum observation distance. The VICTORY SF only requires the wheel to be turned 1.8 times.
